We’re intrigued by gimicks. We use it once, then it gets tossed out. The problem in between is that to use something like this even once, you have to pay for it.
But I’ll admit that, regardless of how utterly corny this thing looks, I’d like to see it in action. It’s human nature; you say “This thing sucks!” while you’ve got the corner of your eye staring at it wondering “Hhmmm…”
I love gadgets too, but ones that are well-conceived, beautifully-designed and most of all, useful. I can only imagine how gummed-up these scissors will get with gooey cheese — likely requiring to be wiped down between cuts. Probably more trouble than it’s worth in my book. I would love to have been a fly on the wall during the product development phase of this. Just imagine the prototypes that failed.
