Hershey is at it again. After snapping up Scharffen Berger Chocolate and Joseph Schmidt in the past year to build out Hershey’s artisanal chocolate line, it has just acquired Dagoba Organic Chocolate, which makes natural and organic chocolate bars, hot chocolate and chocolate-covered coffee beans. Hopefully, Hershey will follow the same path with Dagoba as it has done thus far with Scharffen Berger and Schmidt, which is to allow the premium brand to stay premium.
